Your Guide to Lollapalooza Eats
1. The Florentine
Get in the festival mood with The Florentine’s special Lolla cocktail menu. Available from August 2-4, the menu features drinks inspired from bands like Dirty Vampire (Bombay East Gin, Gaeta Olive Dirty, Calabrian Chili, Bacon), Just Like Heaven (Herradura Tequila, Grapefruit Juice, Egg White, Simple Syrup, Yellow Chartreuse, Bitters) and Mumford and Scotch (flight of three). For the non-drinkers, a trio of virgin cocktails will also be available and include Cherry Lime Inch Nails, Killersoda and Delivered.
2. South Water Kitchen
Cool off from the heat this weekend by stopping into South Water Kitchen between Friday and Sunday and celebrating with half-priced pint drafts when you show your Lollapalooza wristband.
Get your brunch on before the festival this weekend and receive a complimentary charcuterie plate for the table when you make reservations for four or more and mention the promotion.
4. Rockit Bar & Grill
If Lolla isn't enough music for you, Rockit will host live performances on Thursday and Saturday starting at 9 p.m. featuring bands like No Direction, Paper Thick Walls and more.
5. Magnolia Bakery

The Underground is set to reopen Thursday after shutting down six months ago for extensive renovation and expansion. A brand new space, The Lounge, will have an old school, upscale lounge vibe, VIP seating and a new mixology and Champagne bar, while The Club will be a more modern club equipped with a 40-foot high-definition digital video wall. And to kick things off for Lolla, DJ sets will provide the afterparty for festival-goers.
8. Franks 'N' Dawgs
Billed as “Five Star Dining on a Bun,” you won’t find any ordinary hot dogs at this Lincoln Park joint. Instead, guests will enjoy special creations like a Bacon Mac ‘n’ Cheese Dog and Wild Boar Sausage, as well as vegetarian options that include Triple Truffle Fries and Shaved Brussels Sprout Salad.
9. Edzo's Burger Shop
Evanston’s favorite burger shop returns to Lolla with fresh, beefy offerings like a Wisconsin Bacon-Cheddar Burger and complimentary sides such as White Truffle-Parmesan Fries.
