It's not quite dollar oysters, but if you're willing to spend a couple extra quarters, Fish Bar offers oysters for $1.50 on Sundays. Or, for the uninitiated, they'll let you "try one" for $1 any day of the week (otherwise you have to order them by the half dozen for $15 an order).

Though you can't order them by the piece, on Thursdays oysters are less that $1: get a dozen of the Chef's choice for $10. If you're not up for a dozen, go on "$2 Tuesdays", when you can get oysters (as well as tacos, half pints, and whiskey shots) for $2 each.

Shaw's Crab House

You can't quite get $1 oysters, but from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day oysters are half off. That's a little less that $7 for a half dozen--not bad for some of Chicago's favorite oysters.

Save yourself a nickel: on Thursdays oysters (and shrimp) are just $.95 each. But be sure to note, you can only get this deal at the bar, and there's a minimum of 6 oysters per order.

But then again, why get $1 oysters when you can get them for a quarter instead? On Wednesdays at Benny's Chop House, oysters are $.25 each.
