April 22 marks Earth Day and to commemorate, Chicago restaurants will be offering special menus and events. From prix fixe meals using local, organic ingredients to a craft beer tasting raising awareness for clean water, there are plenty of ways to celebrate Mother Earth. Many will also donate a portion of proceeds to a worthy cause. So get out there, do your part and enjoy a nice candle-lit dinner to end the day.

Celebrate on Monday, April 22 with a special five-course candle-lit dinner showcasing local ingredients. Courses will include a vegetable garden salad, ravioli, striped bass, pork loin and strawberry terrine. Ten percent of the proceeds will be donated to The Plant, an indoor vertical farm that promotes closed-loop food production and sustainable economic development through education and research.
