What to Eat at Soldier Field, Home of the Chicago Bears

Just like the team’s roster, there’s not a lot of food changes for 2019

The Chicago Bears are celebrating the team’s 100th birthday, and there are Super Bowl expectations by the lake in 2019. The team roster hasn’t changed much compared to the 2018 season. Likewise, the home team’s food vendor lineup hasn’t changed much either. While that continuity could bode well for the team, some fans who look forward to the ridiculousness of stadium food could find the lack of new options disappointing. And for fans who crave stadium improvements, they’ll also have to temper their expectations.

Fans can do that in a few ways. For Stadium Club members, Soldier Field will offer new pop-ups featuring top chefs. So for Kevin Hickey (Duck Inn) and Ryan McCaskey (Acadia) have signed on. Other additions include a tribute to the South Side’s gym shoe sandwich.

Take a stroll through Eater’s guide to Soldier Field’s food and drink below. Opening night is Thursday, September 5 versus the rival Green Bay Packers.
