The night will take guests to a spooky UV Upside Down Land inspired by the Netflix series Stranger Things. Have fun on Halloween and do it for a good cause. The Logan Square bar is hosting a Caribbean-themed Pirates for the Puerto Ricans party on October 30 that will raise money for hurricane relief. Activities will include a raffle giveaway, apple bobbing, a costume contest, and more. Entry is $40 and all proceeds will be donated to charities.

Chicago Athletic Association
Enter a Twilight Zone at Chicago Athletic Association’s Halloween blowout. The event will take over the entire 13th floor and blur the line between imagination and reality. Guests are invited to dance the night away with a live DJ performance at Cindy’s and discover “sensory-defying artistic expressions” in select suites. Tickets are $75.

Emporium Popups - House of the Dead
Hot on the heels of a successful Stranger Things-themed run, Emporium’s rotating pop-up venue has transformed into a House of the Dead. Stop in before November 4 and experience an immersive haunted house atmosphere with Halloween-inspired cocktails and beers. The bar will also throw a Night of the Dead costume party on October 31 in celebration of All Hallow’s Eve.

Fat Rice
Abe Conlon and the Fat Rice crew are going south for their Halloween festivities this year. Invoking the taste and spirit of New Orleans, the restaurant will host The Big Sl-Easy: All Hallow’s Eve Jazz Funeral. Diners can look forward to a prix fixe menu highlighting items such as spicy frog legs, gator gumbo, the-king-is-dead cake with bloody boudin, and more. The night will be set to a playlist of jazz and traditional zydeco, and seatings are at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. The six-course dinner with drink pairings is priced at $125 per person, which is inclusive of tax and gratuity.
