2. Alhambra Palace Restaurant

Baderbrau, located just south of Lake Shore Drive, near McCormick Place, offers a laid-back and open space for wedding guests. Their beers are low ABV, and they recently began serving food. Their mac and cheese waffle will blow away the food at your best friend's wedding.

This Michelin-starred brewpub has a roomy and gorgeous space that can be rented out in Ravenswood. The kitchen staff specializes in fancy bar food using precise technique.
Walk down the aisle in style inside this James Beard award-winning restaurant for outstanding design (2002), where chef Ryan Pfeiffer's elegant Midwestern cuisine will impress your guests as equally as the ambience. Blackbird is available for full buyouts, complete with a customized tasting menu and wine pairings. The first floor main dining room holds 65 while the second floor private dining room accommodates 48 seated people or 80 for cocktails.
Cai's spacious dining room can handle most special requests in Chinatown. They will even let you serve your mother's mapo tofu or other dish if it really means something special to her.

Not only a butcher shop, cocktail bar and full-service restaurant, but also a 6,000 square foot multipurpose event space, Chop Shop/1st Ward will blow out your wedding party. 20-foot ceilings, exposed brick walls and an upper level mezzanine surround the completely customizable space, easily able to seat 180 with plenty of space to boogie or entertain up to 400 for a cocktail style reception. Also customizable are the food and drink services with catering options available spanning from passed appetizers to buffet style dinners. If you need more space, you can have it all: the butcher shop, bar, restaurant and outdoor space.
9. City Winery
Whether seeking an intimate ceremony for 50 or a blowout reception bash for 400, the dynamic event space at City Winery can cater to nearly every nuptial need. In the main dining room, for an audience up to 110, couples can tie the knot in full view of oak aging barrels. Cocktail hour takes place inside Chicago’s only fully functioning winery, where guests enjoy wines on tap along with passed hors d’oeuvres. Also celebrate in the main concert venue where seated dinner and dancing take center stage for up to 200. Or if a less traditional cocktail reception is more appealing, there’s room for 400.

Above the first floor diner, bakery and coffee shop, Little Goat’s second floor private events space and rooftop, inspired by chef Stephanie Izard’s desire to create “a space that feels like home,” has ambiance that's equally charming and chic.
