Where to Watch the Cubs, White Sox and Other MLB Teams in Chicago

Grab a cold one, some great food and a few innings at these bars

Baseball season is upon Chicago, and sports bars are ready. This is important stuff for office workers. Perhaps the Cubs or Sox are playing a day game during lunchtime. True fans aren't watching on a laptop. They need an escape, where they can enjoy an extended lunch. No one wants to be cooped up in an office while fans are soaking up the sun.

Some of these bars are near Wrigley and Sox Park, so they're perfect for a little taste of the ballpark atmosphere for fans who don't want to be hassled by large crowds. Others feature MLB Extra Innings, Major League Baseball's TV package that shows out-of-market games. Others are just solid bars with great food and beer that happen to have TVs. There are sports-friendly spots with bartenders who will happily turn on the game for patrons. Not every fan-favorite made the list, but fans can discuss the snubs in the comments.

Check out the map below, which is ordered geographically from north to south.
