Revolution Brewing starts serving a Humboldt Park alligator beer
Chicagoans obsessed with the viral news about the alligator in Humboldt Park’s lagoon can drink beer celebrating it starting today. Revolution Brewing’s Humboldt Gator, a pineapple coconut wit that costs $6, goes on tap at the essential brewery’s Logan Square brewpub and Avondale taproom today, Block Club first reported. “[The beer has] a definite piña colada flavor going on, which we thought was perfect for both Humboldt Park and the tropical chaos of a lagoon gator,” Revolution’s rep writes. $1 from the sale of each will go to the non-profit youth and community program service provider West Town Bikes.
