Fulton Galley, a food hall with five restaurants, is officially opening on Saturday along Fulton Market. The food hall includes a beer garden and a 30-seat bar that splits the space, all tucked away in an area once dominated by meatpackers. Customers will find Thai food, a Jewish deli, Mexican-American cuisine, rotisserie meats, and Italian options.
The 10,830-square-foot food hall at 1115 W. Fulton Market is from Galley Group, a Pittsburgh-based company that’s opened in markets including Cleveland and Detroit. There’s also space at Galley for private parties. Galley is gearing up for a nighttime crowd that will keep the bar busy. The bar features 20 taps for beer with a focus on local brews. They’ll also sell buckets of single-serve wine bottles.
Galley joins nearby Politan Row. the West Loop food hall from the New Orleans-based parent of St. Roche Market. They opened in May with 12 stalls. Time Out Market and its 18 vendors should open in the fall down the street from Galley.
