Popular Italian restaurant Tesori shutters after six years in the Loop

Theater goers and other downtown eaters have officially lost one of the area’s more popular Italian restaurants. Tesori, which had been open for six years at 65 E. Adams Street, has shut down for good, its website announces. The restaurant had previously been closed temporarily since April 3 as a casualty of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra musicians’ strike, and ownership apparently decided to pull the plug for good in the space that was previously home to Rhapsody.

This Chicago cocktail bar is a Food & Wine best new restaurant

One of Chicago’s hottest cocktail bars is now one of the country’s best new restaurants, according to Food & Wine. The magazine also named Passerotto’s ddukbokki lamb ragu as its “mashup of the year.”
