Cubs’ manager says his Wrigleyville restaurant will open on May 14
Maddon’s Post — the new Wrigleyville restaurant from Cubs’ manager Joe Maddon and star Chicago chef Tony Mantuano — appears to be opening in just over two weeks. Maddon told reporters after the Cubs’ loss to Arizona on Friday night that the Polish-Italian restaurant will open on May 14 at Gallagher Way next to Wrigley Field, the AP reports. The restaurant’s representative says he’s unable to confirm that date “on our end” — calling it “a moving target” — so stay tuned. Its social media and website read opening in May.

It was in business for seven years on Wellington and the Edgewater location closed early this year.
