— Eaters who don’t want to go out will soon be able to order fried chicken and Asian-inspired sides from a lauded sushi chef’s new delivery-only restaurant. Naoki Fried Chicken, from chef Naoki Nakashima of Lettuce Entertain You’s essential sushi restaurant Naoki Sushi, will launch in August to deliver chicken with tobanjan dipping sauce, sides including yuzu cole slaw and panko-crusted mac and cheese, maki rolls and drinks, a rep says. Check out the full menu below. Nakashima’s chicken was previously available at the restaurant only on Sundays and Mondays for dine-in and to go. — Death & Co., the famed NYC cocktail bar that’s embarking on national expansion thanks in part to an equity crowdfunding campaign, has Chicago on its list of possible new locations, Bloomberg reports.
— Two Chicago spots — Marisol and Tempesta Market — are nominees for Bon Appetit’s best new restaurants list this year. Neither landed on Eater National’s list, which was released last week and included Pacific Standard Time.
— The Bad Apple, Lincoln Square’s popular burger and beer spot, is for sale but is still open.
— Southport’s popular Mexican-themed eatery and drinkery Tuco & Blondie was robbed at gunpoint after closing late Sunday night, Crime in Wrigleyville and Boystown reported.
— And finally, check out a video of Paul Kahan reading mean Instagram comments after Publican Quality Meats removed its chicken parm No. 2 sandwich from its menu. The sandwich will be available again every Wednesday in August in limited quantities.
