— Chicago’s newest rooftop bar opens today above Ballast Point’s Fulton Market brewpub. The indoor/outdoor space seats 150 people and serves its full beer selection utilizing 50 draft lines as well as a food menu cooked from its own kitchen. It’ll open today at 4 p.m., but its regular hours will be from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Thursday through Sunday.
— Next has unveiled its latest iteration: part one of a retrospective of sister restaurant Alinea. Covering 2005-2010, tickets are currently available on Tock through August 12.
— Today is the last day for Tribecca’s Cubano, the popup at Revival Food Hall from the folks behind Honey Butter Fried Chicken. Kevin Hickey’s highly-anticipated Duck Inn Dogs popup opens next on July 2.
— More popup news: Emporium Arcade Bar opens a miniature golf popup today at its rotating event space in Logan Square. It includes a six-hole course and a “Pro Shop Pub” with golf-inspired and themed cocktails until it ends on July 28.
— And finally, Land & Sea Dept. has a new custom beer with Logan Square stalwart Hopewell Brewing. The limited-edition pale ale is a porch pounder brewed with stone fruit and pine is available at Parson’s Chicken & Fish, Game Room, Longman & Eagle, Lonesome Rose, and Hopewell’s taproom.
