Nine months after opening its first Chicago location, Dos Toros will open a second burrito shop next week. The N.Y.-based chain specializes in San Francisco Bay Area Mission-style burritos full of cheese and wrapped in flour tortillas. The new location opens on Monday, May 7 at 300 S. Wacker Drive.
This location is cashless and takes up 2,800 square feet, according to a news release. It has room for 58 seats and is the chain’s 16th location. The company is also expanding its vegetarian options. This location will launch with an option of butternut squash, Tuscan kale, cremini mushrooms, and Shishitos sautéed in coconut oil. Dos Toros serves burritos, tacos, burrito bowls, and quesadillas.

Dos Toros opened its first Chicago location in August at 1 N. Dearborn Street which means Dos Toros’ three announced Chicago restaurants are all in the Loop.
Opening day will include discounts for customers who purchase food between 11:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. or 5 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on Monday. The restaurant will sell $1 items during those times. The company said they’ll donate a meal to the Great Chicago Food Depository for every opening day meal photo posted on social media with the #DosTorosChi hashtag.
