Ramen lovers in Andersonville have a new option in the neighborhood as Furious Spoon opens its latest location tonight. The ramen shop from chef Shin Thompson and pals debuted its latest at 5406 N. Clark Street. This 1,000-square-foot spot is a 30-seater that serves noodle bowls and cocktails in the same atmosphere as previous restaurants in Boystown, Logan Square, and Pilsen. This is the chain’s seventh location after debuting in 2015 in Wicker Park.

There’s new menu items: chicken dumpling shio (broth that favors sea salt), a spicy beef ramen, and a “Furious” ramen with chicken dumplings and spicy tonkotsu broth. This location has a full bar with cocktails and sake. They’ll stay open until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Check out the menu, which includes poke bowls — perhaps a throwback to ownership’s FireFin Poke Shop — below. The Furious Spoon empire continues to swell and they open at 6 p.m. tonight in Andersonville.

Furious Spoon, 5406 N. Clark Street, open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
