North Avenue Beach’s Shore Club, the seasonal waterfront restaurant and club that debuted last year, has a few changes for the summer of 2018. The club opens on Saturday, May 11 and among the new offerings are morning coffee, food, cold-pressed juice service and a new bar at The Patio; and morning fitness classes, and new frozen boozy drinks at The Restaurant at Shore Club.
Shore Club includes three venues to appeal to the weekend brunch crowd, afternoon beachcombers, and those wanting a nighttime drink along Lake Michigan.
They’re partnering with Equinox, the gym with locations in Lincoln Park, Gold Coast, and The Loop. They’ll offer morning classes at The Oasis, the space that’s reservations only. The new bar at The Patio will have post-workout fare including small bites and cocktails. Shore Club’s Restaurant will feature new frozen drinks including frosé, margaritas and a “cold fashioned.”
The bars are offering some Instagram bait called “The Beach Party” cocktail (cucumber-infused vodka, pineapple, lime, jalapeno and sparkling wine). The drink also comes in a large format giant copper pineapple or flamingo.
It’s still more than a month until the opening, but it’s never too early to think about 80-degree summer days along the lakefront. Stay tuned for more information as summer approaches. Tickets are available here.
