Parlor Pizza Bar is set to open its third location on Friday in River North. The West Loop spot — the original that debuted in 2014 — is popular at night, while the Wicker Park location draws more of the day drinks-and-stroller set. Like those two restaurants, the River North spot at 405 N. Dearborn Street will serve Neapolitan crusts, craft beer, and cocktails. It takes over a high-profile piece of real estate — the former Ocean Cut space at Kinzie and Dearborn.

This location will also feature a window for sweets. It’s called Dessert Dealer, and seems inspired by BomboBar, the Instagram-famous dessert window at Bar Siena in the West Loop. The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner.
There are two items exclusive to the location: an al-pastor pizza (achiote marinated pork, roasted pineapple, salsa verde, chipotle marinara, queso fresco, cilantro, shaved red onion) and the “Gimme S’more TACOlato” (Rocky Road ice cream, Hershey’s chunks, marshmallow fluff, graham cracker, fudge sauce, whipped cream, sugar crusted graham cracker shell).

This spring they’ll debut two sidewalk patios and artist JC Rivera has painted a mural inside. It’s a change from the fine dining at Ocean Cut and Keefer’s, but should be a popular addition to the neighborhood. Parlor River North opens on Friday.
