— Shake Shack is set to open its fourth city of Chicago location next week in Wrigleyville. The uber-popular New York-based burger chain will open its latest restaurant on Tuesday, November 13 at 3519 N. Clark Street, less than 500 feet from Wrigley Field, home of the Cubs. The first 100 people in line at 11 a.m. on opening day will get free Wrigleyville T-shirts and scoops of custard in souvenir cups, according to a news release. Shake Shack has plans for locations inside Willis Tower and in suburban Oak Brook to add to its first Chicago location in River North, its spot in the Chicago Athletic Association hotel on Michigan Avenue in the Loop, Old Orchard Mall in suburban Skokie, and Fulton Market.
— Swanky new Mag Mile rooftop bar Z Bar now serves Sunday brunch with some fancy dishes. The menu includes a $45 lobster omelet with black sturgeon caviar, magnum mimosas that run from $120-420 based on champagne choice, and French toast sticks for $22, according to a news release. — Replay Lincoln Park announced the latest theme of its seemingly never-ending parade of 90s pop culture-themed popups — “Friends.” Expect spaces in the bar to look like Monica and Rachel’s apartment, Central Perk cafe, and Joey and Chandler’s apartment, according to Block Club and a news release. It starts Friday and runs until November 25.
— New Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker knows his Illinois constituents love pizza. In his victory speech last night, Pritzker said “Illinois taught the nation how to debate, how shuffle to a Super Bowl and how to eat a pizza.”
— And finally, in more Wrigleyville news, rooftop spots are so popular in Chicago that even a divey spot near Wrigley Field is getting in on the action. Owners of The Dugout, the no-frills subterranean spot at 950 W. Addison Street, have added rooftop seating and already have an opening date for it — March 17.
