Signage has been up for a couple weeks in Streeterville where Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises plans to open the company’s third Ramen-san restaurant. LEYE is shooting to open the last week of November at 676 N. Saint Clair Street on the ground floor of the building shared with Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Arkes Pavilion.
Knowing the medical industry draws many busy professionals to the area, this Ramen-san will offer fast lunch options like ramen/rice plate combos with a salad and marinated cucumbers. Lunchtime carryout orders should take 10 minutes or less, according to a news release. They’ll also offer happy hour specials and sell Japanese beers and whiskies.
The first Ramen-san opened in 2014 in River North. In May, the company opened a second location in Fulton Market/West Loop. The Streeterville location should serve items from the older two restaurants including Sichuan wings and a newish vegetarian ramen option. LEYE is adding a pork katsu sandwich to the Streeterville menu.
LEYE continues to keep busy with restaurants openings in 2018. This year, besides the Fulton Market Ramen-san, LEYE has also opened Aba in Fulton Market, Bar Ramone in River North, and a Beatrix Market in the Loop.
