Colectivo Coffee should officially arrive in Wicker Park in early 2019 near the northeast corner of Damen and Division. The new coffee shop from the Milwaukee company will feature an outdoor patio and it will sell beer, much like the chain’s first Chicago location in Lincoln Park. The space will also have a room onsite for barista training, according to a spokesperson.

This would be Colectivo’s third location in Chicago, following cafes in Lincoln Park, Logan Square, and Andersonville. The most recent opened in September. The Wicker Park location should open in late winter/early spring at 1211 N. Damen Avenue.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson also has news about an upcoming location in suburban Evanston. That cafe should open in mid-November at 716 Church Street and also have patio space.

The Milwaukee chain features pastries, its own tea and coffees, and draft beer. Outdoor areas include a variety of features including fire pits and retractable awnings. The Logan Square space has even hosted live music. Colectivo opened its first Chicago location in 2017 in Lincoln Park.
