Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises has taken the quick-serve component of its all-day restaurant, Beatrix, and spun it into a stand-alone location. Beatrix Market opened this morning (Tuesday) at 155 N. Wacker Dr. in The Loop. Customers will find self-serve soup, hot food, and salad bars as well sandwiches and a rotating menu of chef-assembled salads. It will also feature a coffee bar with trendy Bulletproof butter coffee and more.

The grab-and-go market debuted two years ago at the Beatrix in Streeterville. The Fulton Market location that opened in April also featured a market called “Bea’s Market.” LEYE has since phased that name out. Beatrix has proven popular for diners who want healthier options, providing a diverse menu with items that can please the pickiest eater.

Customers can also find items baked on premises, and they’ll offer delivery and office catering. LEYE even put together a marketing video if folks want a look.

Beatrix Market, 155 N. Wacker Dr., (312) 629-0025, open 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays; they’ll start serving coffee at 6:30 a.m. on weekdays.
