WICKER PARK— Executive chef Bradley Stellings is out at The Robey Hotel, which opened in February. The signature restaurant, Café Robey on the ground level is an all-day affair featuring a French-inflected menu. Stellings spoke to DNAinfo and said that they’re shifting the restaurant toward a more-casual vibe, and that’s why he’s leaving. He’s headed back to New York. A restaurant rep told DNAinfo that they want to make the menu more affordable. No word on who’ll take the reigns now.
BUCKTOWN/LINCOLN PARK— The Tribune reports that Scott Sax has taken over the executive chef position at Ada Street, the secluded boite in the Elston Industrial Corridor, succeeding Joanna Stachon. His menu launches this week; look for a Latin-American twists like steak tartare tacos aguachile style.
