BUCKTOWN— Sunday brunch isn’t new at Dixie, but the cheffy Southern-inspired restaurant has unveiled a new menu and added Saturday service. Chef Charlie McKenna (Lillie’s Q) and his crew are serving a variety of southern-inspired items that will rotate weekly. Sample items include “Pull-apart Biscuits” with cinnamon sugar, a croque madam (country ham, Kentucky rose mornay, fried egg, brioche), and a “Table Burger” (griddle patties, pimento, chow chow, red onion, benne bun). There’s also a spiked iced coffee made with Sparrow Coffee on their brunch drink list. Brunch goes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the weekends.

RIVER NORTH— Moe’s Cantina in River North is reopening for Saturday brunch starting on July 8. It’ll offer a $15 Mexican buffet and a $15 drink package that gives customers all-you-can-drink mimosas, bloody Marys, and Bud Light. Saturday brunch goes from noon to 4 p.m. Groups of six or more with a reservation get a free bottle of champagne. Call (773) 348-8899 to reserve.

RIVER NORTH— Salads, burgers, and a Bolognese chili dog are on the menu for Bar Lupo’s new weekday lunch menu. Check out the lunch menu here. There’s also a $5 “lunch punch.” The service lasts from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays.

STREETERVILLE— The Albert, the new Einstein-inspired ground-floor restaurant inside the Hotel EMC2, has the genius idea to start weekend brunch on Saturday, July 8. The menu will rotate every weekend. It’ll also offer several cocktails including “The Bitter French,” a take on the French 75 with Luxardo, lemon juice and prosecco, and the “CGP” with raspberry liquor, gin, vodka and citrus, and garnished with a sweet dehydrated lemon wheel. Brunch goes from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the weekends.

ROSEMONT— The Northwest Suburbs have a new lunch option on Fridays in Rosemont. Bub City is serving its classic barbecue menu that customers should be familiar with from the River North stalwart. It features meat and threes and comes with a drink for $16.95 and is available starting at 11:30 a.m. on Fridays.
