It all arrives on Wednesday

Getting a drink during peak times at Cindy’s, perhaps Chicago’s most popular rooftop bar, can be difficult and time-consuming. But that should improve now that ownership has built a new outside bar on the terrace of the Chicago Athletic Association’s 13th floor. When it opens on Wednesday, not only should it be easier to grab a drink without retreating inside, but staff will also unveil new boozy popsicles, lots of rose, and new rotating cocktails.

The popsicles, which will be available in boozy and non-boozy versions in flavors including mango, should rotate throughout the summer. There’s also “apothecary service”: jars with large-format cocktails, and management says they’ll offer single pours too. Guests won’t have to commit to the entire jug.

Check out the photos below. Cindy’s new terrace bar debuts on Wednesday.
