—Grant Achatz, Nick Kokonas and crew are working on a book for their landmark Fulton Market cocktail bar The Aviary. A Kickstarter page is up with a video and many details on the cookbook, which describes its inspiration as “a beverage book that compares to those iconic cookbooks.” It could potentially include 100 cocktail recipes from Aviary and The Office, and you can check out one below. Estimated delivery of the book, for those who contribute to the Kickstarter, is July 2018.

—The wacky story about a Georgia man who was arrested for ditching an $1800 tab at Trump Tower, in addition to smaller tabs at Coco Pazzo Cafe and Mother’s Too, has gotten even wackier. The Tribune made contact with the assailant, Robert Heath, who told the paper that he’s a wealthy baller in an ongoing spree across the country which will be revealed in a magazine article, and that he hit Terrace at Trump because "I don't need to steal — I just don't like Donald Trump." He said he bought champagne for every table there, which definitely runs up a tab quickly. He was in San Diego when the Trib spoke to him and is still wanted by Chicago police, who he tells to “catch me if you can,” a la the Leonardo DiCaprio movie.
