OLD TOWN— Delightful Pastries has closed their location at 1210 N. Wells St. It’s one fewer paczki destination in Old Town, but folks can still go to Jefferson Park for their fill. Beyond Polish and other European baked goods, it was a solid destination for lunch in the neighborhood. Signage makes it look like retail will replace the restaurant.

WICKER PARK— It’s elimination for Game 7 Bar & Grill, a non-descript sports bar near North and Ashland. The watering hole has closed at 1540 W. North Ave. Sorry, Indiana fans, as the bar was a hub for Hoosiers.

NORTH CENTER— Dive bars are an endangered species all across the city. The latest to bite the dust is O'Lanagan's at 2355 W .Montrose Ave., according to DNAinfo. A developer is proposing condos on the site, as the transfer happened in February. The website described the place as a “quintessential shot-and-beer bar.”
