The owners of Parlor Pizza Bar plan on opening a new restaurant three blocks from its original location in the West Loop. They’re crossing a country music theme with Tex-Mex cuisine for an as-now unnamed restaurant at 942 W. Randolph St. Parlor’s brass is targeting a summer 2018 opening date, according to a news release.

While the West Loop has its share of Mexican and barbecue restaurants, Randolph Restaurant Row has generally been shielded from country music bros. This will be the fourth barstaurant for owner Michael Bisbee, who also has a second Parlor in Wicker Park and owns Stout in River North. The Wicker Park location, which opened last summer, features a large patio area that houses a ping pong table on occasion. The West Loop location, which opened in 2014, also has a large outdoor area. It made headlines last summer after an infamous allegation that involved designer sweatpants.

Will this new country project christen in a new age of ten-gallon hats on Randolph Street? Stay tuned for updates on further details. DNAinfo first reported the new spot.
