—Restaurant workers at O’Hare have voted to strike, according to the Chicago Tribune. Timing is unclear, as union officials haven’t said when it would occur, and contractor HMSHost says the restaurants will continue to be staffed even if a strike occurs. The strike is for securing higher wages and more affordable health insurance.
—The Budweiser Brickhouse Tavern at the Park at Wrigley is starting a weekend brunch. A carving station, mac and cheese bar, pancake station, and hot dog station will all be available starting Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and available on both Saturday and Sunday after this weekend. A Bloody Mary bar caps off the brunch buffet experience, which costs $35 for the food and $15 for the alcohol package.
—Those looking to make their own brewery hopping tour, listen up. The Chicago Brewing District is offering a free trolley ride between their collection of breweries this Sunday, December 10 and next Sunday, December 17 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Barrel Run bus will be making stops that are totally free for anyone who would like to ride to experience the different breweries. Stops are as follows:

—Season 2 of ‘Top Chef Junior’ is about to be underway, and Universal Kids is looking for talent to compete on the show. The open call will be at the Ambassador Hotel from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, December 9. They’re looking for kids ages 9–14 who have a knack for showing their stuff in the kitchen.
