After a small delay, Michigan-based Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ale announced it’ll open its Hyde Park brewpub on Tuesday, October 24. The project’s official name is Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria & Brewery and it’s the brewery’s first opening outside of Michigan. The brewpub will feature more than 30 taps and a menu tailored to the Chicago market, according to a news release.
The brewpub sits at a corner space at the Harper Court mixed-used development at 5251 S. Harper Court. It’ll serve burgers, pizzas, and sandwiches to complement the beer and cider. Jolly Pumpkin is known for its barrel-aged beverages. Knowing that, the interior features a barrel-shaped chamber where patrons can sit. Check out the photos posted on the brewpub’s Facebook page below. It occupies 5,800 square feet.
Jolly Pumpkin first opened in Dexter, Michigan in 2004. It has five Michigan facilities in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Traverse City, Royal Oak, and Dexter. This would be the first brewery in Hyde Park. Stay tuned for more details.
You can sit in or around our barrel at Jolly Pumpkin Hyde Park!
