Top Chef: Colorado, the 15th season of Bravo’s competitive culinary show, doesn’t debut until December, but it will feature a Chicago chef. Bravo revealed the rosters and Spiaggia & Café Spiaggia chef de cuisine Joseph Flamm is among the 15 contestants. The show also includes judge Graham Elliot who will soon open a new restaurant on Randolph Street with good friend Matthias Merges.
Flamm’s resume includes stints at a trio of West Loop restaurants: bellyQ/Urbanbelly and Girl & the Goat. He’s also worked at Table 52 in Gold Coast. He’ll compete for the usual $125,000, a feature in Food & Wine, and a showcase at the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen. Top Chef won’t be his first TV appearance. He appeared with chef Stephanie Izard’s team in 2012 on Iron Chef America. Flamm graduated in 2004 from Marist High School.
