Left Coast Food+Juice, the healthy-esque eatery in Lakeview with food developed by chef Paul Kahan (Publican, Blackbird, Avec, etc.), is opening a second location. A new location will debut inside the newly-opened “Exhibit on Superior,” a 34-story apartment tower in River North. Curbed Chicago has a tour of the building.

Ownership is targeting a May or June opening at 165 W. Superior St., inside a two-story retail space, according to a news release. Left Coast’s founder Michael Madden opened the Lakeview spot in April. The fast-casual restaurant serves cold-pressed juices, smoothies, wraps, bowls, and salads.

Madden told Crain’s that the first floor will be a coffee bar, while the kitchen and dining room will go upstairs. There’s room for about 100 seats inside. The location is next to a park. Left Coast draws a breakfast crowd, and Madden said that his team may organize morning yoga outside. Perhaps Kahan will be around for a spin class as he’s known to do.
