THE LOOP— Piggyback BBQ has closed at 176 N. Wells St. The shutter happened a couple weeks ago. It’s a spinoff of the Piggyback Tavern over in suburban Oak Park that remains unaffected. Meanwhile, another location at 500 W. Madison St. is temporary closed. They will reopen, an employee at the Forest Park location said.
OLD TOWN— After a six-month stint, Doodle's Doughnuts will close at 1419 N. Wells St. Owner Dana Lanier wrote in a Facebook post about financial struggles and the challenge of being a single mother as reason for the shutter. Doodle's last day will be on Sunday.

WEST LOOP— Trattoria Isabella announced its closure via Facebook. Saturday will be the Italian restaurant’s final day at 217 N. Jefferson St. Ownership wrote they already have a new location, but haven’t revealed any more details.
WICKER PARK— Division Ale House is closing on Sunday, according to DNAinfo. The owner, who also runs High Noon Saloon on Milwaukee Avenue, may bring a new concept to the space at 1942 W. Division St.
NORTH CENTER— Namo Thai Cuisine has closed, as owners said they will pursue other projects. They had been open for five years at 3900 N. Lincoln Ave.
