Today, Two Brothers Brewing unveils The Craftsman, three floors of ambition in suburban Naperville that includes a farm-to-table restaurant on the second floor. The third floor will eventually house a cocktail bar, which Two Brothers plans on opening later in October. Though they won’t brew beer on premises, they’ll have plenty of pints to put back.
It starts on the first floor with the Market Cafe where they’ll pour Two Brothers’ own coffee blend. There’s a butcher and a deli where they’ll serve locally-sourced meats cured from a Himalayan salt wall on the same floor. They’ll also serve smoothies and salads.
The second-floor restaurant’s menu will frequently rotate and includes in-house aged steaks, sustainable seafood and a homemade horseradish gnocchi with pancetta and spinach.
The third-floor cocktail bar also leads up to a rooftop. The Tribune detailed some of the beverages. There’s four beer cocktails including the Boomerang (Domaine DuPage French country ale, spiced rum, cherry liqueur, barrel-aged bitters).
It’s not Two Brothers’ first food foray. There’s also Two Brothers Roundhouse in Aurora. Oh, one more note: There’s no TVs here, bro. Check out the photos below.
The Craftsman, 16 W. Jefferson Ave., open from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m., Monday through Thursday; 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Saturday; 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
