WEST TOWN— M Vie will close at the end of month at 1372 W. Grand Ave., ownership revealed via Facebook. They plan on moving to the South Loop, but a location wasn’t revealed. The restaurant, which serves gumbo, slings a variety of specialty cocktails and hosts live music, opened in 2013.
LAKEVIEW— Five Guys has closed at 3219 N. Broadway St., reported DNAinfo. The burger chain lasted five years at the location. The closest Five Guys to that location is in Lincoln Park at Clark and Fullerton.
LINCOLN PARK— Sarks In The Park, a brunch spot across the street from that Lincoln Park Five Guys, has closed at 444 W. Fullerton Pkwy., reported DNAinfo. The owner had feuded with his sister, who owns Sarkis in Evanston.
ROSCOE VILLAGE— Banh Mi BaGet appears closed over at 2057 W. Roscoe St. Their Facebook page announced a temporary closure back in August, however the phone number's disconnected and Yelpers, Google, and other passersby say it looks like a permanent closure. It's the third location to shutter, joining locations on Belmont and Southport.
Banh Mi BaGet, formerly Banh Mi & Co., has closed in Roscoe Village.
WRIGLEYVILLE— Fornello Trattoria, a small Italian restaurant north of Wrigley Field at 1011 W. Irving Park Road, has closed. Thin-crust pizza and pastas were their specialties.
THE LOOP— After 34 years, Perry’s Deli is closing to make room for FireFin Poké Shop at 174 N. Franklin St. The Tribune confirmed the closure, reporting that they’re planning to move to another location in the Loop.
