Here’s Bangers & Lace in Roscoe Village.
Marc Much

The third Bangers & Lace opens this afternoon in Roscoe Village, giving the neighborhood a new craft beer, sausage, and weekend brunch destination on Addison Street. They’ve taken over the former home to Endgrain—a building that also previously hosted Italian favorite Terragusto—and replaced it with a rustic outdoorsy decor familiar to anyone that’s visited the original Wicker Park B&L or the one in suburban Evanston.

There are 20 beers on tap, and drinkers can see the beer list from that familiar chalkboard that hangs behind the bar. The brews complement the British-inspired food, however there are 12 house cocktails served as well. Encased meats enthusiasts will find the traditional bangers & mash and selections like a duck BLT. Head baker Hanna Coleman’s resume includes stints at Publican Quality Bread, Floriole and Pleasant House Bakery. Her offerings include "Hanna’s Bread," consisting of selections of corn sourdough, pumpkin & squash focaccia, pretzel rolls.

Brunch service won't start immediately, but will be added in the coming weeks. See the full menu and all the photos below. There's sidewalk seating, too.

Bangers & Lace, 1851 W. Addison St., (773) 697-8667, open 3 p.m. until close daily.
