The folks behind The Betty, Bangers and Lace and Sparrow have teamed up with a group of savvy bartenders who hope they have the right prescription for thirsty drinkers in Logan Square. Spilt Milk opens on Thursday at 2758 W. Fullerton Ave. inside a building that housed a pharmacy in the 1920s. It’s a no-nonsence bar with carefully-prepared classic cocktails with modern twists.

Footman Hospitality has teamed up with a new group called Equal Parts Hospitality. Matty Eggleston, Tony Selna and Jason Turley are industry veterans with stints at places like Nico Osteria, The J. Parker, Bar Deville and Lone Wolf.

The drinks include The Concord Grape Julep (Concord Grape Juice, Ancient Age Bourbon, Pierre Ferrand 1840 Cognac), Sarsaparilla Zazerac (bourbon, Marsala Sarsaparilla Syrup), teapot bitters, Crème de noyaux, Germain-Robin absinthe) and the Pink Lemonade (vodka, clarified milk, white port, lemon peel). They'll also serve rotating beer selections and wine.

Inside, it's a tribute to 1900s-era Chicago taverns. Check out the mahogany bar, tall tin ceilings, custom upholstered seating and floral wallpaper. There's also pendant lighting that looks like milk bottles.
