—The folks behind popular watering holes Estelle's, aliveOne and The Owl are opening another 4 a.m. bar next Saturday, Aug. 13, in Bucktown. Remedy, which has been in the works since Feb. 2015 at 1910 N. Milwaukee Ave., will be a 70-seat "anytime bar," DNAinfo reports.

Bon Appetit released its annual list of the 50 Best New Restaurants in America yesterday, which included four Chicago hotspots: Boeufhaus, Monteverde, Pub Royale, and Roister. Monteverde was also on Eater restaurant editor Bill Addison's list, and has already ascended to the Eater 38 here in Chicago along with Boeufhaus.

—Bayside wasn't just the site of fictional high school romances on "Saved By The Bell." A real life romantic moment happened at Saved by the Max on Friday, when a couple — dressed as Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski — got engaged at the popup modeled after the diner for the TV show, according to DNAinfo. The Max still has a long way to go to catch Geja's Cafe, which has been the site of more than 16,000 engagements since it opened in 1965, and likely didn't include any R2D2 rings or cosplay.

—Can Mezcaleria Las Flores get any hotter? The Logan Square mezcal-driven bar star just might with its new summery-yet-adventurous cocktail menu this week, which includes the "Much Collect" made with another rarely-used Mexican spirit, Balam raicilla, ripe watermelon, Green Chartreuse, fresh lime, cilantro salt, and served in a black ceramic cup. Read the full menu below.

—In somewhat related news, you can get a free preview of what Sarah Jordan (whose Johnny's Grill is connected to Mezcaleria Las Flores) will serve at her stall in the forthcoming star-studded Revival Food Hall. Her Graze Kitchenette is popping up Friday morning at The Dearborn in the Loop, serving free mini-versions of her super food smoothie bowls from 8 a.m. until they run out. They're also giving away 25 coupons for free burgers.

—Finally, this may be hard to believe, but the venerable Piece Pizzeria and Brewery turns 15 years young tomorrow and will celebrate with live music and more. Check out a time-lapse video of its history here which features an eclectic cast of characters including Barack Obama, Rachael Ray, Dave Grohl and Doug Sohn.
