Friday morning is opening day in Lincoln Square as Oromo Cafe will enjoy a soft opening. The cafe will offer a menu of "craft" lattes from owner Cenk Duman and chef Corey Joseph. They'll also offer healthy pastries at 4703 N. Lincoln Ave.

Duman writes they'll open at 9 a.m. on Friday with drinks half off until 4 p.m. A grand opening will happen on Saturday. The house-made syrups and baked goods will veer away from traditional cane sugar, with those pastries packed with superfoods such as maca.
