ARCHER HEIGHTS— After 34 years, Los Delfines Seafood Restaurant served their last meal on Sunday at 5207 S. Archer Ave. Fresh Mexican-style seafood —lobster and oysters— and other fare was their specialty. The family-run restaurant made the announcement via Facebook.
ALBANY PARK— VIP Chinese Restaurant, which served a combo of Chinese and Korean food, has closed after 31 years. The family-owned restaurant was known for, among other items, fresh-made noodles at 3254 W. Montrose Ave. A sign on the door informs would-be customers that they’d decided to pack it in and retire.
LINCOLN SQUARE— It appears Apart Pizza Co. is done in Lincoln Square. After announcing back in February that they were close for remodeling, a member of LTHForum noticed a "for lease" sign in the window at 2205 W. Montrose Ave. Apart still has their Edgewater location, so fans of thin-crust can go there. Their GrubHub page has been taken down for the Lincoln Square location which opened back in 2006.
RIVER NORTH— Ending a less than two-year run, Chef's Burger Bistro has closed. They made the announcement via Facebook that Friday would be their last day at 164 E. Grand Ave.
