Reservations for Temporis should go live in late-September

The team behind Temporis continue to slowly release scant morsels about their mysterious avant-garde fine-dining restaurant scheduled to open this fall. This time, their reps have shared renderings to showcase the work they’ve done to transform the former Moku Sushi Bar at 933 N. Ashland Ave. in West Town.

Sam Plotnick, formerly of Les Nomades, is teaming up with Evan Fullerton. The two met while working at the French restaurant in Streeterville, and are listed as co-chefs at Temporis. Reservations should go live in late-September, but they haven’t yet shared an opening date.

They’re describing the cuisine as contemporary American, as Chicago magazine spoke with Plotnick. A dish example is rabbit served three ways: A tandoori-spiced loin, a tiny rack of rabbit and a braised rabbit leg with carrot puree.

Inside, it’ll be a tight dining room with 20 seats, as the rendering showcases a sleek and modern space where diners can settle in for a variety of tasting menus. There are lots of earth tones and touches of marble in the renderings below. More to come soon.
