Friends and family on Thursday night got a sneak peek inside Remedy, the new late-night bar officially opening on Saturday in Bucktown. Between Western, Milwaukee and Ashland avenues, it’s the area’s sixth 4 a.m. bar. The bar’s owners, Four Entertainment Group, own another den of late-night mistakes, Estelle’s, located less than a mile southeast of Remedy, also on Milwaukee.

Though ownership hasn’t confirmed, it’s a good bet the bar will be open for another test run Friday night, at least for friends and family. Though they possess a late-night license that allows them to remain open until 5 a.m. on Sunday, owners have said they want to appeal to more than industry workers getting of work late and those wanting to keep the party going into the wee hours.

It's been a two-year process to open the place. Four Entertainment Group, also owns aliveOne in Lincoln Park, The Owl in Logan Square (also a 4 a.m. bar) and Easy Bar in Wicker Park. They have offices in Cincinnati and own nine bars in Ohio.

Besides Estelle’s, other late-night bar options in the area include Nick’s Beer Garden, The Flat Iron, Shambles and evilOlive. Time to add another one to the rotation. Remedy officially opens Saturday.

Remedy, 1910 N. Milwaukee Ave., (773) 698-7715, open from 4 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sunday through Friday; 4 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Saturday.
