The transformation from gas station to taqueria is complete in Bridgeport. Antique Taco opens their second location at 5 p.m. today. Owners Rick and Ashley Ortiz have made a few tweaks to the menu as well as bringing along some fan favorites from Wicker Park. The space is highlighted by a 100-seat patio nearby U.S. Cellular Field and a walk-up window.

A new taco, the "Super Crunchy," highlights the additions on the South Side. It's a hardshell with octopus, chorizo and garnished with mint and mayo. There's also a smoked chicken enchilada. Drink-wise, there's a new prickly pear slushy margarita seems made especially for patrons using the new outdoor space.

Antique Taco opened in 2012 in Wicker Park to help flood Milwaukee Avenue with an army of taco spots. Co-owner Rick Ortiz's family is from Bridgeport, and now they've got a restaurant in the area, joining a glut of taco stands on the South Side. But the expansion work's not done for the Rick and Ashley Ortiz. They've got a mini version of Antique Taco planned to open next month inside Revival Food Hall in The Loop.

DNAinfo first reported the opening. Check out additional photos below.
