It's a misnomer to refer to Devon Avenue as "Little India," as it ignores the Pakistani, Nepalese and other southeast Asian contributions to that strip. That being known, the owners of South Loop favorites Chicago Curry House and Nepal House have found a spot on Devon to open another restaurant. Look for a second Nepal House to open soon at 2601 W. Devon Ave.

The restaurant will serve Indian and Nepalese cuisine, as well as beer and wine —they've applied for a liquor license with the city of Chicago. An exact opening date isn't known, but it appears it's a while off as the previous tenant's signage is still up. A message to Nepal House ownership wasn't immediately returned. Come back later for any news on when they'll serve up momos and other Nepalese and Indian fare.
