Are you an angry drinker, fed-up with mixologists with their fancy presentations behind the bar? Spilt Milk, a new bar slated to open later this month in Logan Square, could be your tonic. Chicago has more the details of the new bar, a partnership between Footman Hospitality's Chris Haisma, Jason Freiman, and Nick Podesta (The Betty, Bangers & Lace, Sparrow) and bartenders Matty Eggleston (Nico Osteria), Tony Selna (Sparrow, The J. Parker) and Jason Turley (Lone Wolf, Bar Deville).

The 60-seat bar will serve up six draft beers and 12 wines by the glass. Folks won't have to wait a long time while bartenders mix the house cocktails (which will range between $8 and $15). Chicago has more info on the drinks. Popcorn and chips will be the only food available, and there's also a back patio in the works.

Come back for more as the opening date for 2758 W. Fullerton Ave. grows closer.
