There's a bit more information on Temporis Restaurant, the West Town fine-dining spot planned for 933 N. Ashland Ave. They've hired a public relations firm who now say the restaurant will open in September. And to prep for the opening, their holding a trio of pop-ups in August over at Local Foods.
There's room for 11 guests per pop-up dinner, and Temporis' co-chefs Sam Plotnick and Evan Fullerton will prep a 10-course tasting menu. The menu includes King Crab (fennel, parsnip, smoked trout roe), hamachi (yuzu, hazelnut, cookie), sunchoke (watercress, chamomile, endive) and rhubarb (Grande Marnier, ginger). Tickets are available via Eventbrite for $75 each, plus a $15 service fee. The pop-up dates are Aug. 7, Aug. 14. and Aug. 28.
The news release includes scant more details on the actual restaurant. They'll have 20 seats, and serve dinner with a seasonal tasting menu and "hyper-focused service." Hopefully more information will be available on the restaurant before September.
