A month after opening their popular tri-level rooftop lounge overlooking the Chicago River, LondonHouse Hotel has announced they're opening up more of their space during dinner and late-night hours to accommodate walk-ins. They're also adding afternoon hours and made changes in their reservations process by adding three new dining options.
Beginning on July 1, patrons can book three prepaid dining options, giving patrons two hours to enjoy their time on the roof. There's a drink option, "The Cocktail Experience"; a small-bites tasting, "The Chef's Tasting Experience"; and then the self-explanatory "Champagne & Oysters Experience." Patrons will pay more for prime times, as prices will increase depending on when the tickets are booked.
The new hours, from noon to 2 p.m., began on Monday. They don't require reservations, as they'll open a mimosa bar during the afternoon. Finally, there's changes for the private space, the LH Cupola, which hotel officials described as the perfect environment for a wedding proposal. That's the same space a LondonHouse official called a "cash register." Between 5 p.m. to midnight, if customers at the LH 21 indoor bar order a glass of Dom Perignon, they get Cupola access.
