Better get in line early. In a Barbecue Week mini-miracle, Austin's famed Franklin Barbecue, the line-inducing smoked meat bonanza from Texas that's been lauded by many outlets as the best 'cue in the country, is popping up in Chicago for the second year in a row in conjunction with Land & Sea Dept., according to an email announcement. Aaron Franklin and his team will serve their barbecue for three nights on July 1-3 from 6-9 p.m.
Tickets go on sale this Friday at noon, and if you recall last year's popups where tickets sold out within three minutes, you'll want to log on extra early. Stay tuned for a ticket link and details on the pricing and location.
UPDATE:
The ticket links for each day are below. They cost $100 each.
