Saved by the Max is extending dinner reservations once again. None other than Mario Lopez (A.C. Slater) announced on his radio show last night that the "Saved By The Bell" pop-up will continue through Dec. 31. This batch of tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. today.

Check that link, as it shows how far the idea for a month-long pop-up has come. Hoping to ensure there's no system-crashing snafu, The Max is using Tock, the ticket reservation system from Nick Kokonas of the Alinea Group. The portal normally attracts fine-dining spots, though Saved by the Max isn't the first pop-up on the system.

Perhaps that's an indication of things to come. Maybe in 2017 co-owner Derek Berry and Co. will recreate another TV show restaurant. He's said he's a fan of Monk's Café from "Seinfeld" (coincidentally also part of the NBCUniversal banner, as the parties have already worked out a licensing agreement for "Saved By The Bell"). That way, Berry will have contributed to a rotating pop-culture version of Next Restaurant (also an Alinea Group concept).

Whatever's next for Berry, don't be a squandering Screech. 11 a.m. may be your final chance to snag a reservation.
