The mashup of Korean-Polish street food is almost to Bridgeport. Kimski, Maria's Packaged Goods & Community Bar's highly-anticipated expansion, will be unveiled on Tuesday, May 10, at 5 p.m. The bright trippy space, which you can take a look around above, is one of the most unique restaurant designs you'll see—complete with modern angular ceilings with skylights and a Picasso-esque sign with sausages and chopsticks. There's also a second bar and a large back patio.
Stay tuned for the final food menu, which chef Won Kim previously teased tongue in cheek dishes including Polish sausages with kimchi and Korean mustard, Korean-style potstickers with pierogi fillings, and a Polish take on bi bim bop. Try the food on Tuesday, take a tour in the photos above, and watch a fun video preview below of a Polish boy and Korean girl having a food fight.
