Two of the hottest recent openings are about to get even hotter. St. Lou's Assembly and Moneygun will debut their new patio, called Lou's Backyard, with a Sunday funday party that's open to the public in the West Loop. The fun starts at 4 p.m. on Sunday when guests get to try the venue's new outdoor menu that includes a picnic basket-style meal.
The 100-seat patio includes a bocce ball court. Check out the soft-serve ice cream that can be upgraded for adults with one of three boozy toppers: white Russian, Campari-orange or mango mezcal. The picnic basket will bring back outdoor memories, hopefully without the ants, with cold roast chicken and potato salad. There's also the mix-and-match goodness of canned beer that will keep cold outside when packed in a plastic cooler.
16" On Center's bringing the fun on Sunday, as the party will also feature the vocal stylings of Al Scorch, music from DJ Johnny Walker and free beer from Hopewell Brewing Co. Hopefully the weather cooperates. Read the menu below.
Lou's Backyard, open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sundays and Thursdays; 9 a.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
